President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has summoned communications Minister, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams, to see him for allegedly violating lockdown rules.
This is after the former deputy minister of Higher Education and Training, Mduduzi Manana, shared a picture of the two, along with others, having a meal at his house.
According to the 21 day lockdown regulations implemented by government, people should stay at home and only go out to buy essentials.
Meanwhile Ramaphosa has called on South Africans to take Covid-19 seriously and abide by the regulations that have been published by government.
He says the lockdown has been an important measure to contain the spread of the pandemic.
