Bafana Bafana coach at the 2023 COSAFA Cup Morena Ramoreboli has backed Molefi Ntseki to turn things around at Kaizer Chiefs after being appointed as the head coach of Amakhosi. Ramoreboli spoke after Bafana’s One-all draw against Namibia in their opening match of the COSAFA Cup at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday. Chiefs appointed Ntseki as head coach, replacing Aurthur Zwane who will take up the role of assistant coach alongside Dillion Sheppard. The news was met with mixed reactions from fans and the football community at large, as many did not expect chiefs to turn to Ntseki who was serving as the head of Technical and Youth Development Academy at Naturena prior to his appointment. Ntseki has no experience as a head coach at club level, with his coaching of Bafana Bafana between 2019 and 2021 being his biggest coaching gig prior to the Chiefs appointment
Ramoreboli is well acquainted with Ntseki is adamant that the Botshabelo born mentor should be given a chance to prove himself, and believes he is capable of turning things around for the Naturena club that has not won a trophy since 2015.
