Motorists are from this morning paying R1, 32 a litre less for both 93 and 95 octane petrol across the country.

The owners of diesel vehicles are paying R0.91 less a litre.

These prices dropped at midnight.

Analyst Bonke Dumisa says the strengthening of the rand against the US dollar is one of the factors that has contributed to the reduction of fuel prices.
