Religious leaders welcome the reopening of places of worship

Religious leaders have welcomed the announcement by president Cyril Ramaphosa that churches, mosques and synagogues can resume religious services under level three.
Strict safety measures must be in place and only 50 people may gather at a time.
The leader of the African Christian Democratic Party, Reverend Kenneth Meshoe, says this is a vindication of his party’s call on the government to open places of worship:
