Repo rate remains unchanged

The Reserve Bank’s monetary policy committee says the country’s overall risk to inflation is balanced but uncertainty is high.
This finding has led to the South African Reserve Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee keeping the repo rate unchanged at six-and-a-half-per cent.
Speaking in Pretoria Governor, Lesetja Kganyago, however says one interest rate cut is possible next year, depending on data.
