Residents benefit from Operation Khawuleza

Finance MEC, Ravi Pillay, has urged the community of UMgungundlovu district to ensure that they look after the equipment that has been handed over to them as part of Operation Khawuleza.

Residents have benefited from a multi-million rand yellow plant equipment, which will help in making sure that the municipalities responds urgently to service delivery, such as sanitation, waste removal and roads infrastructure.

Speaking to the residents at Caluza Community Hall during the official launch, Pillay says it is up to the community and officials to maintain the equipment, as it will be servicing all the seven district municipalities.
