Rise Mzansi Says Despite Mashatile’s Denial, The Public Protector’s Investigation Must Proceed

Rise Mzansi says acting Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka must still launch an investigation into serious alleged breaches of the Executive Ethics Code by deputy president Paul Mashatile.

This is despite Mashatile denying reports that he is living a life of luxury that is allegedly sponsored by state capture operatives.

Rise Mzansi’s spokesperson, Tebogo Moalusi, says if indeed the deputy president is as clean as he professes, he will have no problem submitting himself to the looming investigation by the Office of the Public Protector.
