Proteas White ball coach Rob Walter says he’s excited about the improvements in South Africa’s batting line up, despite suffering a 2-1 series defeat to the West Indies. The Proteas suffered a 7 runs loss in the final T20, as they failed to respond to the Windies score of 220, finishing on 213/6 after 20 overs.
The Proteas hit a whopping 603 runs in the T20 Series, which included the record breaking 259 run-chase from the second T20, which was also a continuation of the brilliant batting that was on display during the 3-match ODI series against the Windies. Rob Walter has expressed concerns about the bowling strategies and execution of his team, but believes his batting attack is moving in the right direction since he took over as head coach.
