SA Officially in COVID-19 Third Wave

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases says South Africa has technically entered the third wave of the Coronavirus pandemic.
The national seven-day moving average incidence now exceeds the new wave threshold, as defined by the Ministerial Advisory Committee.
South Africa has recorded 9149 new COVID-19 cases since yesterday.
The majority of new cases are from Gauteng with 61%followed by the Western Cape at 10%.
Both the Free State and North West provinces accounted for 6% of cases.
A further 100 COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, bringing the total to 57 410.
