SA to Receive 1 Million COVID-19 Vaccines this Month

Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says South Africa will receive 1.2 million COVID-19 vaccines in January.
Mkhzie says a further 500 000 doses will be receive in February from the Serum Institute of India (SII).
He says government will prioritise the protection of health workers by ensuring that they receive the vaccine by February 2021.
Mkhize adds that they are pleased that the SII/ Astra Zeneca vaccine has already been approved by various regulators and is being rolled out in other countries.
