SACP Demands A Meeting Over Eskom

The South African Communist Party (SACP) General Secretary, Solly Mapaila says the communist party along with its tripartite alliance needs to convene a major alliance meeting to address the electricity crisis in the country.

Mapaila has told Cosatu’s 14th national congress that the power crisis has become a matter of urgency.

He says there needs to be a pushback on the privatisation of power utility Eskom.
