The South African Communist Party’s (SACP)general secretary, Solly Mapaila, says calls for President Cyril Ramaphosa to step aside are premature.
Mapaile has been addressing the media on the outcome of the communist second plenary meeting in Johannesburg.
He has also raised doubts about the findings of the Section 89 independent panel led by former Chief Justice Sandile Ngcobo.
Mapaile says the findings of the Phala Phala report are legally inconclusive.
