National police have confirmed that a police van spotted outside former president Jacob Zuma’s home, in Nkandla northern KZN, yesterday was part of a routine patrol regiment.

The Constitutional Court on Tuesday gave Zuma five days to hand himself over to police after being sentenced to 15 months in jail for contempt of court.

The five days will expire on Sunday.

Police Spokesperson, Vish Naidoo, says they are urging members to stop spreading misinformation.

With reports that Zuma’s supporters are planning to gather outside Nkandla, Naidoo has discouraged any form of gatherings, especially with COVID-19 spreading like wildfire.
