On your marks, get set, Beach Fest!! Prepare to be part of the most spectacular musical celebration yet, as the Gagasi FM returns for its 11th edition this December. On Saturday, 07 December 2024, Moses Mabhida – Peoples Park in Durban will come alive from 10am until late, celebrating the vibrant fusion of Durban and South African music landscape.
Marking a decade of musical exchange, Gagasi FM Beach Fest has grown into a cornerstone event that celebrates the richness of entertainment. This year, under the theme “Year of The Goat,” the festival commemorates 11 years of fostering unity and cultural pride, highlighting the enduring spirit of Durban. This year, the festival will showcase an impressive line-up of artists, including top-tier stars, alongside local South African talent. A highlight of the Gagasi FM Beach Fest is the vibrant display of renowned award-winning artists from various tribes. Festival-goers can indulge in culinary delights and explore arts, crafts, and textiles from vendors representing the rich tapestry of Durban culture.
Over the last decade, Gagasi FM Beach Fest has brought together incredible talent and esteemed personalities, featuring iconic artists such as the late AKA, Kabza Da Small, Blaq diamond, Nasty C, Nomfundo Moh, Tyler ICU, and DJ Tira. The festival has also received recognition from notable public figures including KwaZulu-Natal MEC of Health – Ms. Nomagugu Simelane and former eThekwini Mayor, Mxolisi Kauda.
The festival is proud and excited to announce giant brands Telkom and Magnum as the proud headline partners of this year’s Gagasi FM Beach Fest. This partnership will be instrumental in the festival’s success. All roads now lead to Moses Mabhida, Peoples Park, as music is at the heart of the Gagasi FM Beach Fest experience, and the lineup for 2024 promises to be nothing short of incredible. Tickets are now available at Webtickets and any Pick n’ Pay outlets at R300 for general access and R1000 for VIP. No Passouts allowed. No bottles will be allowed inside the venue.
