Senzo’s Killers are Still Out There – AfriForum

AfriForum’s Gerrie Nel says the real killers of slain soccer star Senzo Meyiwa are still out there.

Five men who stand accused of killing Bafana Bafana captain, Senzo Meyiwa, appeared at the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court in Gauteng on Monday. The trial date has been set for 11 April next year.

The five suspects are facing charges of murder, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, being in possession of a firearm, and possession of ammunition.

Meyiwa was shot and killed at the home of his girlfriend, actress and musician Kelly Khumalo in October 2014.

Meanwhile, suspects have denied their involvement in Meyiwa’s murder.

Nel who is representing the family says he strongly believes that the mastermind behind Senzo Meyiwa’s murder is still roaming the streets.
