Hollywoodbets Sharks head coach John Plumtree has made minimal changes to his team for the Currie Cup final against the Fidelity ADT Lions at Emirates Airline Park on Saturday. The New Zealand born coach made two changes to the team that beat the Vodacom Bulls in a thrilling Semi final last weekend. Emmanuel Tshituka will start at Eightman ahead of Springbok Pepsi Buthelezi after coming off the bench last weekend, while Junior Bok Jurenzo Julius has returned to the starting team to form a midfield partnership with World Cup winner Andre Esterhuizen.
The Sharks are in red-hot form as they head into the Currie Cup final on an 8-match unbeaten run in the competition, which includes a 35-22 away victory over the Lions back in July. The Durban side will be searching for their first Currie Cup title since 2018, whilst the Lions will be looking to end and almost 10-year wait for the Currie Cup with their previous success coming in 2015.
