South Africa pledges solidarity with the US against racism

The ANC and its alliance partners Cosatu and the SACP say the country will join African Americans in the US and the international community in fighting for the rights of black people in society.
The party says it will launch a #BlackLivesMatter campaign showing that South Africa is standing to be counted in.

Meanwhile ANC deputy secretary general, Jessie Duarte, has slammed those who continue to politicize, loot and corrupt procurement processes amid a national crisis.
Duarte as the ANC briefed media alongside it’s alliance partners, Cosatu and the SACP virtually.
She says this is a time for nation building and the broadening of national unity.
