Ramaphosa says under level three, alcohol will be sold for home consumption on specified days and hours, tobacco and all gatherings except for funerals remain prohibited.
Citizens can now exercise at any time of the day, but not in groups.
He says the easing of some restrictions does not mean that the threat posed by the coronavirus has passed or that the country’s fight against the virus is over.
