Stage 6 Load Shedding Implemented

Power utility Eskom has implemented Stage 6 load-shedding earlier than the expected time.

Spokesperson Daphne Mokwena says this is a result of the system being constrained.

She says the previously announced alternation between stage 6 in the evening and stage 4 during the day will continue.

She urges consumers to switch off non-essential appliances to avoid higher stages of load-shedding.
