Students From Various Universities Will March To NSFAS Head Offices Over A Number Of Grievances

Students from a number of universities will today march to the National Student Financial Aid (NSFAS) Scheme’s head offices in Cape Town.
The students’ grievances include concerns about the financial aid scheme, the students want a review of the outcomes of the appeals on funding.
Stellenbosch University student representative council secretary, Phiwokuhle Qabaka, has told Newzroom Afrika that some students have not yet received funding, three months into the academic year.
Qabaka says the new payment method will enhance corruption among service providers.
