The Plot Thickens on Zuma-Zondo Showdown

State capture commission Chairperson, Raymond Zondo, says the inquiry will approach the constitutional court to impose a term of imprisonment against former President Jacob Zuma.

Zondo has been making his ruling relating to Zuma’s failure to appear before the commission today.

The Commission had summoned the former president to testify before it for the duration of this week after a Constitutional Court ruling… but Zuma indicated he will not comply, citing his application to the high court to review the decision by Zondo not to recuse himself.

Zondo says Zuma had a full opportunity to put whatever reasons he believed justified him in not complying with the summons and allowed the constitutional court to decide on those reasons.
