The warrant for Jacob Zuma’s arrest has been cancelled

The High Court in Pietermaritzburg has cancelled former president, Jacob Zuma’s, warrant of arrest.
It was issued in February and had been stayed after Zuma failed to appear in court due to being ill.
Zuma’s then-lawyer, Daniel Mantsha, submitted a sick note from a military hospital where Zuma was said to have been treated, but the judge at the time, Dhaya Pillay, said it was inadmissible because of inconsistencies.
The former president’s new lawyer, Eric Mabuza, presented another sick note this morning.
