Thuso Mbedu becomes L’Oreal ambassador

Award winning actress Thuso Mbedu in the past couple of years has successfully transitioned from a South African actress aspiring for a mainstream global acting career to a fully-fledged Hollywood rising A-lister. This comes after the Underground Railroad lead turned The Woman King co-star has asserted herself as one of the young-must-watch talents in Hollywood.

Mbedu yesterday took to social media to celebrate yet another milestone in her career as one of the leading global beauty brands add her to their list of ambassadors.

International beauty brand L’Oreal also took to social media to announce:

With Thuso bagging the L’Oreal deal, she marks her second international beauty and fashion deal of 2023. This comes after in March 2023, it was confirmed that Thuso was one of the Christian Dior ambassadors as she was flown to Paris Fashion Week by the Mbedu’s achievements in the eight years since she graduated in 2014 are awe-inspiring. ‘More than anything, it’s taken focus and involved sacrificing things that people hold in high esteem, such as clout and relevance.

Thuso told a publication that, ‘I decided that very early, knowing my intention wasn’t to stay in South Africa. Stuff such as partying and frivolous material things were there before I got here and will be there after I’m done and have achieved everything I want to. For me, it was a pursuit of excellence.
