Tough regulations for correctional centers

Justice and Correctional Services Minister, Ronald Lamola, says he will make sure that the new regulations are enforced at all correctional centers.
Currently visits have been suspended for the next 30 days in prisons countrywide as part of the measures taken to minimize the spread of the coronavirus.
Speaking at an inter-ministerial briefing Lamola says they are taking necessary precautions to comply with the regulations.

meanwhile religious leaders in the country have vowed to cooperate with government in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Diverse communities of faith had been briefing media after meeting with president Cyril Ramaphosa in Pretoria.
The Ethiopian Episcopal Church’s Bishop, Malusi Mpumlwana, says everyone should take this virus seriously.
