SACP General Secretary, Blade Nzimande, has condemned scenes of chaos and lawlessness coming out of Nkandla in Northern KZN.

Nzimande has told the SACP’s virtual celebration of 100 years of the party’s that the incitement of civil war is a dangerous thing to play with.

His comment follows reports of gunshots fired outside former ANC President Jacob Zuma’s home, and several videos making rounds on social media showing people along the route to Nkandla firing guns in the air and claiming war is coming, should Zuma be incarcerated.

Nzimande has called on law enforcement agencies to investigate the origins of gunshots in Nkandla at the weekend.
