UIF Resumes Payment Of Former Teaching And General Assistants

The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) has resumed its campaign of processing and paying unemployment benefits to former teaching and general assistants in KwaZulu-Natal.

It has already processed and paid out claims in the Amajuba District Municipality and eThekwini.

To date, 36.5-million-rand has been paid out to 7950 clients.

UIF spokesperson, Nhlanhla Khumalo, says it is now processing and paying out claims in the Zululand District Municipality until next week Friday.
