ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa says internal squabbles within leaders of the party has taken away from things that need to be done such as improving the lives of voters.

Ramaphosa delivered a closing address at the ANC elective conference in Mpumalanga as new leadership was elected for the province over the weekend.

Mandla Ndlovu was elected as the new provincial Chairperson replacing outgoing chair Lucky Dinisa, while Speedy Mashilo was elected as deputy chairperson

Ndlovu will be taking over from David Mabuza who left the province in 2017 when he was elected at National level as the ANC’s Deputy President.

Ramaphosa says the ANC has lost its much needed support and trust of communities because of internal issues, urging members to start making sure that the party continues to grow at branch level.

He says if this not done as a matter of urgency, they will lose even more in 2024.
