The eThekwini Municipality says it’s working hard to transform the Durban Bay Waterfront and Marina into an economic and tourism hub.

The hub is expected to showcase the unique African continent with its culture and heritage being celebrated through art, music, and architecture.

This is in partnership with Transnet and the provincial Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs Department.

Spokesperson, Lindiwe Khuzwayo, says the development is expected to include four and five-star hotels, a museum, an exhibition and science centre, a retail mall, apartments, and an African cultural centre.
