uMhlathuze Municipality Gets Clean Audit

uMhlathuze Municipal Mayor, Mduduzi Mhlong, says he is proud that his city in northern KwaZulu-Natal is now the second most GDP contributor in the province.
Mhlongo says the municipality has now overtaken the capital city uMsundizi Municipality in terms of GDP contribution.
He has been speaking during a meeting with Umhlathuze Water on various issues pertaining to the municipality.
Mhlongo says working together with various components of the municipality and adhering to all audit requirements is what earned them a clean audit report.
He adds that this will help create more job opportunities for the people of KZN.

Meanwhile, uMhlathuze Water CEO, Mthokozisi Duze, says water shortage challenges will be a thing of the past as new dams will be built in areas around King Cetshwayo District, on the province’s North Coast.
He says the expansions follow an increase in complains over water shortages in areas around Enseleni and Umfolozi.
