Suspended Public Protector, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, says the process that president Cyril Ramaphosa followed to suspend her was not correct.
The president placed the Public Protector on immediate suspension last week, pending the completion of the Section 194 process in Parliament, which is investigating her fitness to hold office.
Mkhwebane has told the Public Broadcaster she has sent a letter to the president challenging her suspension.

She adds that it should not be easy to remove the Public Protector and the Auditor General, given the kind of work they do.
