EThekwini Mayor Mxolisi Kauda, has described the killing of an employee at the municipal offices in Springfield in Durban as barbaric.
The mayor has condemned the murder of the municipal worker who was shot dead by three men who stormed their offices during working hours and opened fire on the employee.
Municipal spokesperson Msawakhe Mayisela says the motive for the deadly attack remains unknown.
Mayisela says Kaunda has urged police to move with speed and arrest those responsible for this heinous crime
