President Cyril Ramaphosa has blamed the aggressive marketing of alcohol in South Africa.
He says this has glamorized binge drinking and made it seem fun to indulge in under age drinking.
Ramaphosa has been delivering a eulogy at a mass funeral for the burial of the 21 victims who died at the Enyobeni tavern in East London a week ago.
The president has also called on law enforcement agency to investigate on the history performance of the tavern which is situated in a residential area as he suspect the violation of trading hours.
