President Cyril Ramaphosa says former Public Service and Administration minister, Ayanda Dlodlo, will be one of three board members representing the interests of 25 African member states at the World Bank.
She has been appointed an executive director on the board of the World Bank in Washington.
Minister of Employment and Labour, Thulas Nxesi, will be the acting minister of Public Service and Administration.
Ramaphosa’s spokesperson, Tyrone Seale, says the president has wished Dlodlo well in her new responsibility.
