The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal has confirmed the passing of its Provincial Executive Committtee member and former KZN Provincial Legislature Deputy Speaker, Meshack Radebe.
Radebe affectionately known as Umkhumbi Wokunethezeka during his term as Social Development MEC, died in hospital earlier today.
The cause of his death is unknown at this stage.
Radebe played a huge role in ending political instability in the province.
ANC Provincial Spokesperson, Nhlakanipho Ntombela, says the party has lost yet another great leader.
