A dark cloud has once again descended on the country’s entertainment industry, as the family of multi award winning gospel singer Deborah Fraser has confirmed her passing.

The 56 year-old who hails from KwaMashu north of Durban is said to have passed away in the presence of her family and friends.

Deborah Fraser was hopeful that she would win the fight and continue healing people through her gospel music.

Family spokesperson, Nontando Mafisa says they are saddened and still reeling pain following Fraser’s passing earlier today.

Mafisa says she was ill and has been wheelchair bound after recent health complications with diabetes.
