Vaccination Drive Struggled During Festive Season – Phaahla

Health Minister Joe Phaahla says only 40% of South Africa’s adult population has been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Phaahla and the Health ministry briefed the media on the country’s response plan.
Tomorrow, the country will officially mark 2 years since it has been operating under the national state of disaster related to Covid-19
Under these rules and regulations, they were put in place for citizens to adhere to including curfew, wearing in public, and other lockdown rules operate.
On vaccination, Phaahla says that the vaccination rate had picked but it was slightly hampered by the holidays festivities.
