The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) says it is fed up with fraud accused Angelo Agrizzi.
The former Bosasa Chief Operations Officer failed to appear in court in over nine months, citing ill health.
On Tuesday, the Palm Ridge Specialised Crimes Court issued a warrant for his arrest, stayed until the next appearance on 2 December.
The court, at the request of the state, will get an independent physician to examine Agrizzi.
Agrizzi stands accused of offering gratification to former MP Vincent Smith in exchange for his influence, as the then chairperson of Parliament’s oversight committee on Correctional Services.
