Zikalala Pays Mpumalanga SAPS a Surprise Visit

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala has made a special surprise visit to Mpumalanga (kwaMagaba) Police Station in Hammarsdale, West of Durban today.

Zikalala is currently leading Operation Siyahlola campaign spearheaded by provincial government to monitor service delivery in the different parts of KZN.

Operation Siyahlola is also aimed at ensuring that government policies are translated into visible and tangible service delivery.

Speaking to media on the sidelines in Hammarsdale this is what he had to say.

In a massive boost for the province’s economic recovery and job creation efforts,  Zikalala also launched a R1.5 billion business park by Pepkor in Hammarsdale.

Accompanied by Economic Development MEC, Ravi Pillay, Zikalala says once operational, the business park will employ 2 200 people in addition to the 5 600 employees already working in the whole Keystone Business Park.

“This will positively impact on the job creation provincially and nationally. In addition, the manufacturer of bottled water Aquelle, has contracted the building of a R300 million warehouse which will begin in the next six weeks,” explains Zikalala.
