Zikalala Promises Solution To Thongathi Water Crisis

KwaZulu-Natal Cogta MEC Sihle Zikalala says they will bring additional water tankers to service the community of oThongathi, north of Durban.

Residents of Hambanathi in Tongaat took their frustrations to the streets yesterday blocking several roads in the area, calling for government to provide them with water.

Zikalala says this was merely caused by a lack of communication.

He says they will strengthen the communication with the community leaders to avoid future protests.
