Zille promises to ensure smooth leadership

Former DA leader, Helen Zille, says she will support current leader, Mmusi Maimane, and work behind the scenes to implement the party’s vision.
She was elected as the DA’s new federal council chairperson, beating her contenders, Athol Trollip, Mike Waters and Thomas Walters.
Zille will be responsible for the organisation and administration of the party as well as implementing federal council and federal executive decisions.
Recent report have indicated that the relationship between the two has been strained..
However Zille has vowed to stay in her lane.

She says she will do her best to take the party to new heights adding that she believes that the party must grow in constituencies that have not grown before.
Zille says the DA will not tolerate individual values adding that she will do her best to ensure a successful leadership.
