Zondo Will Not Recuse Himself

State Capture Commission Chairperson Raymond Zondo has dismissed former President Jacob Zuma’s recusal application.

Zuma had put forward an application for Zondo to recuse himself from chairing this commission as he accuses him of bias and their personal relationship might impair his judgement.

Zuma’s lawyer, Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane says the way the commission questions Zuma, it is as if he is already guilty.

Handing down the application judgement, Zondo says there is no basis that supports Zuma’s allegations.

Following the Judgement, Skhakhane pointed out that they are going to excuse themselves to consider Zondo’s ruling.

Meanwhile Zondo has expressed his disappointment after Zuma walked out of the commission without his consent.
