Zuma Weighs in on Zondo Commission

Former President Jacob Zuma says although he is out of prison on parole, he still remains a democratic prisoner to what he likens as an apartheid house arrest system.

Virtually addressing thousands of his supporters attending his National welcome home prayer in Durban, Zuma says he is grateful for the support he is continuously receiving.

He couldn’t physically attend the prayer service because his parole conditions do not allow him to do so.The former president was released on medical parole following his contempt of court conviction that resulted in a 15-month jail sentence.

Zuma says there are some ANC members who are trying to destroy the party from within, adding that such people are not the ANC and do not represent the principles of the organization.
