Zuma’s Medical Parole Case Is Another Attempt To Undermine His Integrity- Manyi

The Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein is hearing former President Jacob Zuma’s medical parole case this afternoon.

Zuma and the correctional services department are challenging a high court judgment which declared his parole unlawful, which then correctional services boss Arthur Fraser argued that the law had empowered him to release inmates sentenced to less than two years in jail.

The Democratic Alliance and Helen Suzman Foundation are arguing that Fraser acted unlawful in releasing Zuma on medical parole.

Meanwhile, spokesperson for the Jacob Zuma Foundation Mzanele Manyi says the case is just another attempt to undermine Zuma’s integrity.
