Today, March 13th, 2024, is a momentous day for KwaZulu-Natal as we, the number one regional commercial radio station, prepare to celebrate our 18th anniversary. As a vibrant and iconic brand, we promise an unforgettable celebration at four key locations in KZN: Newcastle 107.9 FM, Port Shepstone 103.5 FM, Pietermaritzburg 98.5 FM, and Richards Bay 94.7 FM. As we reach the pinnacle of our teenage years, we are set to embark on a journey into adulthood, and we promise our listeners an unparalleled experience.
In celebration of the #YearOfTheGoat, as a giant brand, we are dedicated to spreading love and being the G.O.A.T – Greatest of All Times. With 18 years of uninterrupted entertainment and connection with our audience, we also have become an essential part of the KZN community. Today’s upcoming celebration promises to be nothing short of spectacular.
As part of the festivities, we are inviting our listeners in each frequency area to participate in an exciting “Spot the Balloon” challenge. The challenge encourages listeners to keep an eye out for Gagasi FM balloons that are strategically placed at malls, taxi ranks, and popular locations in New Castle, Port Shepstone, Pietermaritzburg, and Empangeni. Each balloon will proudly display the Gagasi FM frequency, creating a lively atmosphere and encouraging interaction amongst the community.
