Legendary DJ and producer DJ Zinhle is celebrating 20 years in the industry. She took to her X page to announce her excitement about the milestone. Zinhle, who first rose to fame as the resident DJ in the hit show Jika Majika, went on to become a leading DJ. Her talent and unique sound have helped inspire females in the industry.

In a world where the music industry is still finding its equilibrium, Zinhle stands as a testament to the power of a woman who knows her worth and defines her narrative. Her two-decade journey isn’t just about sticking around for a long time; it’s a win for every woman who’s ventured into a field typically dominated by men.

DJ Zinhle was voted the best female DJ in Africa for the 5th year in a row. This was published in DJTopJane and Zinhle was also voted 61 on the world list. It’s been great for fans to see her receive global recognition along with international superstars such as Icona Pop and Havana Brown.

With over 128.6K monthly listeners on Spotify, DJ Zinhle has many hits to her name. Her hit single ‘Siyabonga’ has over one million streams and her latest single ‘Thula’ has over 50,000 streams. Her most notable hits include ‘My Number Is’ and ‘Colors’.

Zinhle has many awards and nominations to her name. She won a South African Music Award in 2019 for Song of the Year and also achieved a Forbes Woman Africa Entertainer Award, as well as being named Glamour magazine’s Woman of the Year in 2020. With her talent, she’s likely going to win a lot more.

Zinhle empowers females in the music and entertainment industry through her hard work and dedication. She previously defended female DJs on her X account, proving that she’s an inspiration. She stated, “I’m actually loving how the girls are making it their own and dominating”.

@thobeka_kaay commented: “Yep! I remember the first time I saw you on tv, on Jika Majika. My friend Mpume called us from our dorms to come watch it because her sister was the dj there 😊 To another 20 years 🥂✨.”

@Kiita_Moody wrote: “We need another 20 more pls 😍.”

In addition to celebrating two decades of success, Zinhle and husband, Bongani Mohosana (Murdah Bongz), shared stunning snapshots on Instagram.

The pictures captured their feature in “True Love” magazine and fans can’t stop gushing over this beloved celebrity couple.

The caption read: “It’s TRUE, with LOVE from the right woman you can build anything you want. Please get your copy of @truelovemagazine. The Mohasana’s are on the cover 😍”

“😍😍 🔥🔥 The Mohosana’s,” wrote one.

“Them faves 🔥😍😍❤️🙌 yhuuuus,” wrote another.

Looks like it’s going to be a good 2024 for the Mohasanas.
