Born and bred in KwaMashu, Siyabonga Madida known in the media industry as “Heazy” is a rising star . Being born with mogul musician brother Zakes Bantwini , being in the entertainment industry was inevitable.
Having pursed his radio career at a community radio station. His growth in the industry has been nothing short of amazing. He has a world of knowledge to offer any brand willing to partner with him. Heazy is a dynamic polished man always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
He is well known in KZN and Gagasi FM has allowed him to build a foundation of well established fans. He was first introduced to commercial radio in 2015 to host a graveyard shift his determination, energy and radio talent quickly saw him earning a spot on the biggest show on the station, the breakfast show to do traffic and also contribute to the show content.
Heazy finds social media as the best ways to touch base with his fans as well as allowing them sneak peaks into his life. Heazy often attends CSI events offering his services as an MC or DJ. Currently he is working hard daily at the gym to encourage a healthy lifestyle amongst the youth, Heazy is also involved in a 5KM run initiative with his Breakfast show team which they pioneered, he also runs for cancer awareness campaigns.
Heazy has shared stages with the likes of Durban’s Finest, Locnville, Black Coffee, Nasty C, Ricky Rick etc. The rule he lives by everyday of his life is “Treat everyday as if it were your make or break moment, no matter how easy or hard it may seem, give it your everything” there’s no denying that Heazy will one day be counted amongst the best to ever do it on radio and for the public.
He has access to over 1.6 Million listeners at Gagasi FM with over 800 000 thousand listeners a day.
