Luyanda Khambule is living proof that sometimes the universe has bigger plans for you. From holding test tubes to holding the mic, her journey from an Analytical Chemistry graduate to a rising radio star is nothing short of remarkable.
Luyanda discovered her passion for radio while volunteering at her campus radio station — initially just to build her confidence. But what started as a side interest quickly became her calling. It didn’t take long before she found herself MCing major events, including the Huawei World of Rugby Fanzone activation during the 2019 Rugby World Cup, which helped shape her fearless presence both on stage and on air.
Today, Luyanda is a voice to be reckoned with on Gagasi FM. She hosts The Late Night Obsession every Monday to Thursday from 10PM to 1AM, creating an intimate space for deep vibes and real talk. She also brings the heat to weekends, co-hosting Saturday Groove with DreamTeam every Saturday from 1PM to 4PM, keeping the energy high and the beats rolling.
