Dlala Thukzin’s “IPlan” hits the number 1 spot on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music charts

It is official, iPlan by Dlala Thukzin featuring Zaba and Sykes has hit the number 1 spot on the local YouTube,Spotify, and Apple Music charts.
The hit single is featured in the third installment of Dlala Thukzin’s EP series “Permanent Music” which was released on the 15th of September.
In just 2 weeks from its release, we saw “iPlan” become the top trending song on YouTube, Spotify quickly followed, and this week Apple Music was confirmed.

This is not all, TikTok has also received the song well with more than 187 million views across various PGC and UDC, gaining over 100k different videos using the official sound and the sound posted by Dlala himself.
One cannot overlook the role of renowned DJ, producer, and record label founder Thuthuka Zindlovu, who is popularly known as Dlala Thukzin’s dedicated fan base in his journey to the top. Social media platforms have been abuzz with excitement, and fans have rallied behind him, spreading his music far and wide. Moreover, his global recognition on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music indicates that his music transcends geographical boundaries, resonating with listeners worldwide.
Recently, Dlala staged another sold-out “Dlala Thukzin Weekend”, which was a three-day event of fun, education, sports and partying.
In filling up the Durban Amphitheatre on September 30, the DJ said the event planning was a bit tricky, but they managed to deal with it.
“We had a team that worked twenty-four-seven in order to make sure that we delivered the best show ever. This means that the nerves were a bit lighter because we had shared the responsibility as a team.
“We can never run away from challenges, more especially, financial challenges. However, we managed to overcome them. We will always make a plan. The success of such is just the work of God,” Thukzin told IOL Newspaper
Talking about the work of God, Zindlovu’s new viral song “iPlan”, taken from his latest Ep “Permanent Music 3”, has clocked over a million streams in two weeks on Spotify. It is safe to say that the song will make a strong contender for the 2023 song of the year.
