A round of applause for Nomonde Ngcobo, the winner of our Luxury Trip to Zanzibar!

Gagasi FM, the #1 Regional Commercial radio station in South Africa, recently celebrated its eighteenth birthday on March 13th. This year has been declared the “Year of The G.O.A.T” (Greatest Of All Time). On Monday, April 1, 2024, during The Gagasi FM Fast Line show with Sphectacula, Zisto, and DJ Navies, Nomonde Ngcobo was announced as the winner of the Gagasi FM 18th Birthday Zanzibar competition.

Zanzibar is known to be one of the most magical places on earth. The island has a vibrant energy with bright, colorful communities, picturesque architecture, and aged buildings. Nomonde and her plus one will both be experiencing an all-expense paid luxurious trip to paradise.

Before the final announcement, finalists Sbonelo Mfeka, Lungelo Dlame, Ntombenhle Madlala, Thembelihle Ndlovu, and Nomonde Ngcobo competed head-to-head for the grand prize. After two phases in the competition, Nomonde emerged as the ultimate winner. Since March 13, 2006, Gagasi FM has consistently been at the forefront of broadcast media, breaking boundaries and leading the waves in KwaZulu-Natal and beyond. The station’s unwavering commitment to nurturing local talent, providing the best on-air experiences, delivering authentic content, and contributing to the community has been at the core of the brand’s identity.
