ABSA Stokvel – COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Before you enter the competition please read the competition rules below:
2. By entering the competition and/or accepting any prize (if you are a winner), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
   The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final. No negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact.
3. Participants/listeners enter into and take part in competitions at their own risk and Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd bears no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm suffered as a result of participation in any of Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd’s competition.
4. The ABSA Stokvel Competition is brought to you by ABSA and Gagasi FM. The competition starts at 00:00 on Monday, 21 September 2026, and ends at 23:59 on Friday, 25 September 2026 on Gagasi FM.
5. The competition will be played on the Gagasi FM Drive (15h00 – 18h00).
6. To enter the competition, entrants must visit the Gagasi FM website (www.gagasiworld.co.za) and complete the ABSA entry form to nominate their stokvel to be awarded the R5000 cash prize. Competition entry form can be found on this link https://gagasiworld.co.za/more/absa-stokvel-awards/
7. To double their cash prize to R10 000, the nominated stokvel must have an Absa Investment Club Account. To open the Absa Investment Club Account, entrants must visit their nearest Absa branch with a minimum of two stokvel members, their South African Identity Documents, and proof of address not older than three months.
8. Daily during the competition period, one entrant will be called on air to be awarded the cash prize.
9. All entrants who indicated that they have an Absa Investment Club Account, will only be awarded their prize money once Absa has verified their account status.
10. The cash prize money will be paid into the nominated stokvel’s bank account, not the nominee’s account.
11. Prize: R5000 cash prize
12. Winners will be notified telephonically, and the judge’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. The Prize is not transferable to another person and is not redeemable for cash.
14. Winners are to provide Gagasi FM with a copy of their bar-coded Identity Document and the stokvel Bank account confirmation sent to the station via e-mail.
15. No entries by post or any other form will be accepted by Gagasi FM.
16. Gagasi FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of fraud, cheating including without limitation through the manipulation of codes or otherwise falsifying data.
17. Entries that contain errors will be invalid.
18. Any entries received after the competition moment will not be eligible to participate in the competition, regardless of the reason for the late entry.
19. Gagasi FM is not liable for any technical failure that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted.
20. You will be disqualified if:
    • You are under the age of 18 at the time of entering the competition
    • You have won a competition conducted by Radio iGagasi 99.5FM (Pty) Ltd in the past three months.
